2. What this policy covers

This policy applies to information you give us through this Site. It does not apply to the separate course platform you are taken to when you click “Learn Now” (currently courses.store), to any mobile application you download from it, or to any app store you obtain it from. Those services are operated independently by third parties under their own privacy policies and terms. Please read those before creating an account or making any payment.

Our web host also keeps standard server logs, which may include your IP address, browser type, device type and the pages requested. These are used for security, diagnostics and to keep the Site running, as with any web server.

Information we do not want

We do not ask for, and you should not send us, payment card or bank details, passwords, government identification numbers, health information, or any other sensitive personal data. This Site processes no payments whatsoever. If you choose to buy the course, that transaction takes place entirely on the third-party course platform.

4. How we use your information

We use the information described above to:

We will not use your information for a materially different purpose without telling you first and, where required, obtaining your consent.

5. Consent, and how we may contact you

By completing and submitting the enquiry form, you give free, specific, informed and unambiguous consent for us to collect, store, process and use your information for the purposes set out in section 4.

You also agree that we may contact you using the details you provide, by telephone call, SMS, WhatsApp, email or in-app notification, for:

Any communication we send through WhatsApp is additionally subject to the applicable Meta and WhatsApp platform policies, over which we have no control.

Withdrawing your consent

You may withdraw your consent at any time, and it is as simple to withdraw as it was to give. Email contact@edufost.com with the subject line “Withdraw consent”, ideally from the email address you submitted. We will stop processing your information for the purposes you have withdrawn and delete it, unless we are required to keep it by law or to establish or defend a legal claim.

You may also ask us to stop promotional messages only, while continuing to receive replies to your enquiry. Withdrawing consent does not make unlawful any processing we carried out before you withdrew it.

6. Who we share your information with

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only with the following, and only to the extent needed:

If our business is transferred, restructured, merged or acquired, your information may be transferred to the successor entity as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

Some providers store data on servers outside India. Where that happens, transfers are made in accordance with the DPDP Act and any restrictions notified by the Central Government.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

This Site does not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. Your browser stores a copy of your own form entry locally on your device so it is not lost if the page reloads; that copy stays on your device and we cannot read it. Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address as part of that request.

If we later add analytics or advertising tools — for example a Google or Meta measurement pixel — those tools may set cookies or similar identifiers to measure campaign performance and show you relevant advertising. We will update this policy before doing so. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time.

8. Payments

No payment is collected on this Site. We do not operate a payment gateway here and we never see, receive or store your card, UPI or bank details. Any purchase you make is completed on the third-party course platform, whose own privacy policy and payment processor terms apply to that transaction.

9. Third-party links and services

This Site links to services we do not control, including the course platform and any app store you download an application from. Those parties operate independently and have their own privacy practices. We are not responsible for their content, security or data handling, and you access them at your own discretion.

10. How long we keep your information

We keep enquiry information for as long as needed to respond to you and to maintain reasonable business records, and in any case no longer than 24 months from your last interaction with us, unless a longer period is required by law or necessary to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim. After that it is deleted or anonymised. If you ask us to erase your information sooner, we will do so as described in section 5.

11. How we protect your information

We apply reasonable security safeguards appropriate to the information we hold. These include transmitting form data over HTTPS, restricting access to the accounts where enquiries are stored, and limiting access to people who need it.

No website, server or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. While we take our obligations under the DPDP Act and the Information Technology Act, 2000 seriously, we cannot warrant absolute security, and we are not liable for unauthorised access, hacking or interception occurring beyond our reasonable control. If a personal data breach occurs, we will notify the Data Protection Board of India and affected users as required by law.

12. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you have the right to:

To exercise any of these, email contact@edufost.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, to make sure we are not disclosing or deleting someone else’s data.

13. Children

This Site and the course are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect the personal data of anyone under 18 without verifiable consent from a parent or lawful guardian, and we do not carry out tracking, behavioural monitoring or targeted advertising directed at children. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or the law. The “Last updated” date above shows when it last changed. Where a change materially affects how we use your information, we will take reasonable steps to bring it to your attention. If any provision of this policy is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.

For any question about this policy, to exercise any right above, or to raise a complaint about how we have handled your personal information, contact our Grievance Officer. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within 30 days of receipt.
